The atmosphere is pleasant and the location is tranquil, although the food is not exceptional and comes with a high price tag. As someone who has tried Afghan cuisine at various places, I can discern the variance. However, I appreciate that they have maintained the authenticity of the dishes without attempting fusion.

Amazing! Ordered the Lamb Qabuli Pallaw, which came in a large portion, and enjoyed every single bite. The flavors were perfect, the staff friendly, and the atmosphere quaint and unique. Would definitely return and recommend.

Loved the atmosphere there. Great service and very kind and hospitable owner. Authentic Afghani food. Our favorites were the bademjan(eggplant) appetizer, mantu appetizer, chicken and beef kabuli pallaw.
We found a hidden gym and would definitely try it again if God gave us time.
On the downside we didn’t like shami kebab or it was not a favorite of mine.

Afghan Choopan is located a bit off the road. There is a parking lot adjacent to the road or 3-4 spots if you drive up. The restaurant itself is a bit hidden and in a very home-like building.
The feeling inside is very homely. The place seems to be entirely run by women. There was very less crowd and predominantly family crowd.
Service was alright, the servers would hardly be available to interact if you need something.
There is a 20min wait for the food to arrive but the food was delicious and tasted like a home cooked meal. The portion sizes are large and sufficient to share between friends and family. Ambience is great, and the place is very quiet.
