Halal Meats

I have mixed feelings about this place.

The goat meat I bought here yesterday turned out really well. It had no smell and cooked perfectly. We took extra precautions by cleaning it with vinegar/lemon and cooking it on a low flame for a long time, considering some bad experiences we had at other shops.

However, one downside is that this place is a bit pricier compared to other shops. Most of the earlier reviews mentioned receiving lamb meat instead of goat, so we consider ourselves lucky. The most frustrating aspect is the rude aunty at the counter who doesn't provide proper answers to any questions(you can see that from how they've responded to unsatisfied customers in Google reviews), moreover they don't have price tags or a price board for their items and randomly quote prices to customers.

Don't believe the low rating, this is a GREAT halal meat store, I've been here over a dozen times and always had fresh quality meat. They have spices, teas, frozen foods and even marinated chicken. I drive from over an hour away and stock up about once or twice a month. Well worth it!

Purchased lamb shoulder and it is awesome for BBQ. When told them we were first time coming, they gave a free crispy tikka, which tasted great! Highly recommend!

Good selection of halal meats. Only concern (hence -1 star) is that it says they are open at 10am, but are frequently late. 1007 and still waiting, had a similar issue last time as well. Timeliness is important.
