The owners of this restaurant are Muslim and have confirmed its halal status. From a customer: ‘Talked to the owner on phone, he is a Muslim and said that all of his items are halal including the cheese’
Just ordered from here today on my break. Order was fulfilled in a very timely manner and the food itself is delicious. The fresh veggies hot meat and soft bread all come together amazing to make a nice light midday snack and/or lunch. Will definitely be coming here again thanks to their top notch personality and service to top it off
Istanbul Cuisine is a hidden gem that I recently discovered, and I must say, I am blown away by the flavors and experience I had there. From the moment I entered, the ambiance was inviting and relaxed, perfect for enjoying a delightful meal. I ordered the baklava, lamb pide, and beef gozleme, and I can confidently say that each dish exceeded my expectations.
The baklava was a sweet and flaky pastry that melted in my mouth, leaving behind a heavenly combination of honey and nuts. It was the perfect balance of indulgence and lightness, making it a dessert that I will crave for days to come.
The lamb pide was a flavor-packed delight. The tender lamb, coupled with the fragrant herbs and spices, created a mouthwatering experience that had me savoring every bite. The crust was perfectly baked, providing a satisfying crunch and complementing the rich flavors of the filling.
As for the beef gozleme, it was a true treat. The thin, savory pastry encased a generous amount of succulent beef and a medley of vegetables. Each bite was a burst of savory goodness, and the combination of flavors was simply fantastic.

I ordered the Super Mix Gozleme (spinach, beef, potato filling) and the Chicken Pide (they were out of lamb). The food tasted great; however, I wish there would have been more filling. I ordered two dishes with the intent of finishing them over two meals, but neither dish was filling enough for the price. The two dishes plus two small pieces of baklava were $40 before tip.
The taste of the food is great, but I was hoping for more substantial portions for the price.
I just stopped by this place after I saw “kunefe” in their menu! I love Turkish desserts & kunefe is one of them.
However, the staff wasn’t from Middle East, still they prepared fresh Kunefe for me (took around 20 minutes but each & every bite was worth).
I tried this dessert before from my coworker, and that was so impressively tasty, so when I noticed I can get one here, I took my action immediately. But this one from here, just disappointing! Not worth the money($9.75) for a this tiny one and without any cheese inside and dry and partly burnt! Won’t buy it again.
I was told we can find a half price one with cheese inside of it at Trade joe’s. I will definitely go for that next time when I shopped at Trade Joes.
