I ordered chana masala and rice, ginger tea. Chana and chai was good but rice was undercooked....I have to leave rice in the plate...I ordered Punjabi samosa it was ok. I think someone needs to monitor food quality like it is properly cooked and being served at right temperature... Indian food like samosa tastes better if hot. Basic cooking needs to be better e.g. idlis should be soft and fluffy. Tried Poha ...that was good
Update on the review on my third visit to the slu location
The upma and sambhar served were cold . Misal pav had minimum sev and was cold as well. Very disappointed with the experience in this location.
Solid place for Indian snacks in Seattle downtown.
Their vada pav is top class, poha and upma feels homelike and you can order sev on the side. Last weekend they served saboodana khichdi as well with yogurt which was delicious and well prepared!
The idlis are okay but the sambhar is nice and comes with chutney as well .
The place has a small sit down space which can be enjoyed for a quick snack with hot tea.
Recommend this place for take out and if you are craving for indian flavors
It’s a unique Indian cafe where you can try all specialty Indian drinks and snacks
I try pav Bhaji and it was very nice atleast bhaji was really good pao can be improved
Tea was good but it’s missing the strong taste of Indian chai that must be worked on .
Lasssi was nice but if they can add some cubes of mango it will all great flavors to the taste
Come and enjoy amazing Indian chaat and drinks. I like how they serve the food on steel plates and bowl. Lassi taste good. The place is decorated beautifully.
