Listen, I am by no means an Ethiopian cuisine expert- but I was brought by friends who have certainly had their fair share of the fare. We ordered a combo plate for $20, but holy smokes, there was so much food that the three of us left stuffed. It was also absolutely incredible!

It was a quiet Sunday holiday, and we went pretty late so we basically had the whole restaurant to ourselves.

Will definitely be going again, and bringing friends!

Husband and I have had Ethiopian food many times at multiple Seattle Ethiopian restaurants. This is by far our favorite.

We ordered the lamb tibs two different ways, with Awaza sauce and without. It came quickly, hot and sizzling, on a gigantic injera with an appropriate amount of extra injera on the side. Wait staff who took our order was lovely. Very polite, very soft spoken gentleman. The woman who served us was the cook, and she was also an incredibly nice lady.

The food was INCREDIBLE. Just the right amount of spice. The injera was obviously made in-house, as the edges were crispy. It was well seasoned, and had exactly the right blend of sour and savory flavor. This is NOT toned down for the caucasian palette. If you want spicy, authentic Ethiopian food, this is the place to go.

The tables and restaurant itself was clean, spacious, and comfortable, with perhaps just a little bit too low lighting for my taste, which is the only reason we marked it at a 4-star at all.

Afterward, we sat by the window for a while just enjoying the day, sipping a home brewed cup of coffee and a diet coke. Total bill came to under $50 for two full meals, plus drinks.

Hubby and I WILL be coming back.

Open late and a great place for a late dinner or snack after an evening event. If you're dining with vegetarians, they have tasty dishes diets of all persuasions can enjoy.

Not my favorite, but forsure one of my go to spots. I would say this stays in my top 3 ethiopean spots I order from. Location and price are literally the reason. Their food isn't better than other places, but it's really good.

I pretty much always order a combo u less I'm solo, then I get to order wot or gomen kitfo like I really want.

This is most my favorite location to eat at. I pretty much only get food to go from here. Very ethiopean lounge bar Vibes. Too much to be comfortable on a date. I understand this, so when I want to sit down and eat. I just go to my other favorite spots. We all win.
